Here you'll find everything you need to know about buying a Keycult No. 1 Rev. 1. We've compiled some links below where you can see and learn more about the board:

Video teardown – Starting with a built board, we’ll tear it down and put it back together again so you can see all of the individual components. We’ll also walk through some differences between this revision and the original.

Sale information & overview

The kit will be sold in two stages:

  1. Raffle – Two limited windows for entry will open at 10am and 10pm EDT on Saturday, June 22. These windows will only be open for 3 minutes. We have two windows for entry to better support people in different time zones, but you may only enter once. A link to the raffle entry form will be available at keycult.io before the raffle starts.
  2. Vickrey auction – 10 kits will be auctioned after the main sale. The bidding period will start at noon on Tuesday, June 25 and last 24 hours. We’ve written a blog post explaining what a Vickrey auction is and why we’re using it here.

Here's what will be sold:

  • $515 – Keycult No. 1 Rev. 1 kit (A-stock, Dark Navy & Silver and Black & Gold)
  • $465 – Keycult No. 1 Rev. 1 kit (B-stock, only available during raffle)
  • $50  – Extra brass plate (full plate)
  • $28  – Extra polycarbonate plate (full plate)
  • $65  – Extra WT80-A PCB
  • $38  – Keycult x Rama cap (details TBA)

Sales will be limited to one kit per household.
